Founder Musings: Alpenglow -- December 2025

Dec 29, 2025

It shows up quietly, often when the days feel shortest. Soft color against cold air. A reminder that even in darker seasons, there is still momentum moving underneath.

As this year comes to a close, I have been spending time reflecting on what has unfolded. 2025 was our strongest year yet. We grew to a new level creatively and operationally, and we formed two key partnerships, one within our supply chain and one within our marketing. Both have been deeply supportive, aligned, and grounded in the same values that have guided this work from the beginning.

I feel a lot of gratitude for that growth. Not just for the wins, but for the lessons. Every part of this year clarified something. What to release. What to refine. What to carry forward with more intention.

This moment feels like a clearing. A chance to cleanse what is misaligned and cultivate what is working. To build from a place of trust rather than force.

Winter has always been a season of focus for me. Fewer distractions. More clarity. The work deepens. Ski season pulls me fully into that rhythm, choosing the cold, moving my body, and letting discipline and joy exist together. Many of my biggest personal and professional shifts have happened in this season.

This month’s Golden Threads playlist reflects that energy. Bright, soulful, and alive. Music that carries warmth through the darker hours and supports the steady work of building something meaningful.

Behind the scenes, the studio has gone through its own quiet reset. The space has been refreshed and reconfigured as we look ahead to the new year. It feels supportive of the focus and growth that this next chapter is asking for.

I also want to share that our Wildfire collection donation to The Nature Conservancy has been completed for 2025. Wildfire purchases made in 2026 will continue to include a 5% donation, and my hope is that the year ahead brings an even greater contribution to that important conservation effort.

As we look toward 2026, I want to share a few intentional updates.

Moving into the new year, I am refining how materials show up across the collections. Silver will continue to anchor much of the work, chosen for its quiet strength, luminosity, and ease of everyday wear. Alongside it, solid gold will play a more defined role as an heirloom material, reserved for pieces meant to mark permanence, longevity, and meaningful moments. This clarity allows the designs to live more honestly over time. Fewer layers. More intention. Materials chosen for how they wear, age, and endure.

As part of this refinement, existing vermeil designs will be phased out by the end of January. If there is a vermeil piece you have had your eye on, now is the moment to make it yours before it leaves the collection.

For those who already own a vermeil piece from us, please know that we will continue to honor lifetime replating in alignment with our materials care policy. These pieces remain part of the story, and we are committed to supporting them for years to come.

Alongside these changes, prices across the collection will be increasing. This reflects rising material and production costs and ensures we can continue to create responsibly and sustainably. If there is a piece you have been considering, now is the time to make it yours before these changes take effect.

One more note as we clear space for what is next. Our non jewelry items will be leaving the site at the end of January. They are available now at 25% off while they remain.

I am deeply grateful for an abundant 2025 and genuinely excited for what is ahead. 2026 feels full of possibility. Focused. Aligned. Built on what has proven itself and open to what wants to emerge next.

Alpenglow reminds us that light does not disappear in winter. It asks us to slow down enough to notice it.
