What We Believe
Life should be spent exploring — the outer world and the inner one both. Talismania comes out of that exploring: breathwork, stillness, long hours on a trail, the moments where the line between the two worlds goes thin. What surfaces there becomes the work.
What we believe
That creating is among the most essential things a person can do, and that the work we make is one way of saying so. That precious things can be made without harm. That there's a resonance running through all of it — the collective hum of being here at the same time, in the same big and mysterious world.
What we value
Durability. Of ideas, of aesthetics, of craft, of materials. Things built to outlast the moment that made them.
Depth. Of intention, of purpose, of design. The reason a detail is there, underneath the detail itself.
Curiosity and chaos. The two best teachers we know. We follow what pulls at us and we let the mess be part of it.
These are the threads that connect everything we make — and, we think, the ones that connect us to the people who find their way here.
